Our Stories for Black History Month

Happy BHM! It’s so important for Our Stories to be known, documented and shared. The first steps are the research. Like most of us, our history has not been examined or noted. That’s what we do at Finding Deep Roots.

There are so many untold truths that are waiting to be discovered. Sometimes I call them jewels or gems, because they are often buried, just as precious and deserve to shine. But first, one must research, then document and last, share. Sharing can be many things: a report, an electronic file, a book, a short film or even a series. We can assist. Finding Deep Roots is hosting several workshops in the Pittsburgh Metro area. If you are a novice or expert, come out and share your research goals, stories and experiences. We’d love to support your family history research to help meet your goals. We’ll do good work for you!

Check out our schedule on the Events page to attend a FREE workshop on completing your 5-generation pedigree chart.
