“Granny Nanny” to be honored with NYU documentary!

Discover the remarkable story of Granny Nanny, a Jamaican national hero and leader in the First Maroon War against the British. “Nanny was a leader of the Maroons at the beginning of the 18th century. A new documentary base on the life of Nanny will be screened at the King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center’s screening room at NYU on October 10th, from 6pm to 8pm.
